Why do less people use the macintosh operating system?

Mac has never had the big time marketing success that Windows had... thus the heard all followed the biggest bull (microsoft). On a personal note and observation... I prefer Linux over Windows or Mac due to the fact that they are both WAAAAY to proprietary for my taste... Freedom is what Linux is all about. I can alter... hack... customize my Linux any way I see fit AND re-distribute it without fear of copyright infringement. Try that with the Other stuff and see where it lands you :P
